Personal Information of Children (Current and Future)

There is currently one page of the MarilynArnone.com site which provides activities for children. It is entitled "For Curious Kids." MarilynArnone.com is committed to protecting the privacy of children and does not currently collect and maintain personal information from children. We will require prior parental consent should we ever collect and maintain personal information from children under the age of 13. MarilynArnone.com encourages parental and educator involvement in children's online activities.

Planned offerings for children may include an online tool for creating writing and artwork. This online tool may require a nickname and password to submit their creations to the site (such as art or poetry) but such nicknames and passwords will not be connected to personal identifiers making children effectively anonymous. Should the site receive emails or written communication from children related to submissions of writings or artwork aside from the online tool, their privacy shall be protected by using only a first name and last initial to identify their submission; such submission will need to also indicate parental permission.

Planned activities for children may also in the future include the ability of a visitor to ask a question from a pre-written bank of questions of a storybook or other character on the site. The visitor will only be required to provide a first name and email address for the recipient of the reply which is necessary for this type of feature to work. The visitor will receive an automated pre-written answer via email with no other emails will be sent to the visitor.
