Presentations
for Children
While
my schedule doesn't afford the amount of time I would like to make
presentations directly to children, I do occasionally do this and
always enjoy the experience. I usually bring one or two of my favorite
puppet characters, my guitar, and most recently my new children's
book The Strangest Dinosaur That Never Was. The topics are
curiosity and the fun of doing research and I encourage lots of
participation. Contact me directly to
discuss scheduling, content and technical requirements, honorarium
and expenses.

Imagine a child that is not only filled with curiosity and
a quest for knowledge, but also has the skills to locate,
evaluate, and use the information generated (information literary)
from that curiosity. Further imagine that the child can apply
what he or she has learned in new and different ways (creativity).
To foster these qualities and skills in children is a challenge
for us all.
